Kids Sewing Classes (Ages 7–12)

Learn machine safety, simple stitches, and create fun projects like tote bags, stuffed animals, and simple dresses. End each season with a Mini Fashion Show!

What ages can join your classes?

We currently offer classes for kids (ages 7–13), teens (13–17), and adults. Birthday parties and private workshops are available!

Do I need sewing experience?

Nope! Our classes are beginner-friendly. We’ll teach you step by step and celebrate every stitch. ✨

What should my child bring to class?

Nothing but creativity! 🎨 All machines and tools are included. Students may bring their own fabric if they want to personalize a project, but we’ll also be offering curated fabric bundles for purchase. Ask us for more details!

What happens if we miss a class?

Just contact us to reschedule.

What types of projects will students make?

Projects vary by age group and season! Examples include: tote bags, skirts or pants, tops or dresses, and fun accessories like scrunchies, headbands, or mini pillows.

Do you host birthday parties or private events?

Yes! 🎉 We love to celebrate with creative sewing parties, Sip & Sew events, or private sewing playdates. Contact us for details.

Where are you located?

We are in Pilgrim Square 2295 West Market Street, Akron, OH, on the 2nd floor (Suite K & L). Free parking available.

Is sewing safe for kids?

Absolutely—with guidance! We keep a low student-to-teacher ratio (8:1) and teach kids how to use sewing tools responsibly. Safety is always first.
