Event Overview
Over 2½ hours, kids will learn the basics of using a sewing machine and create a one-of-a-kind Halloween witch hat to take home. They will choose from festive fabric options and learn how to sew, shape, and assemble their project with help from two instructors.
Each workshop is limited to 9 makers, so every child receives hands-on support.

What We’ll Do
Sewing Machine 101 — learn basic safety, threading, and how to use the machine
Practice Stitches — build confidence sewing straight lines on fabric
Choose Your Fabric — select from festive Halloween fabric options
Create Your Witch Hat — sew, shape, and assemble your hat step by step
Enjoy Kid-Friendly Refreshments — take a snack break with kids’ snacks and a beverage
Celebrate Your Creation — take pictures and show off your handmade Halloween hat!
