Sew Curious! For Kids - Sewing 101

Perfect for kids ages 7–12 who are curious about sewing! ✨

Our “Sew Curious!” one-time class is a fun, hands-on introduction to sewing where kids learn how to safely use a sewing machine and practice simple stitches while creating their very own colorful tote bag to take home.

It’s the perfect starting point for young beginners — a creative and confidence-building experience that introduces sewing in a fun, friendly, and supportive studio environment!

📌 Class Details

• Duration: 1.5 hours (includes introduction and sewing time)
• Ages: 7–12 years old
• Experience Level: Complete beginner
• Location: Sew + Reimagine Studio – Pilgrim Square, 2295 W Market St, Suite K&L, 2nd Floor, Akron, OH
• Cost: $50 per child — includes studio time, patterns, and instruction

💡 This one-time class is perfect to “try sewing” before joining our Sew Confident! program or 6-Class Seasonal Bundle.

Your child will:

• Learn how to safely use a sewing machine
• Practice threading, stitching, and fabric handling
• Create and decorate a finished tote bag project to take home

🪡 Materials:
We’ll provide all the fabrics and supplies needed for this class using our fun studio fabric selection — so everything is ready when you arrive!
If your child wants to bring their own fabric for a personal touch, they’re welcome to do so.
